RN Hospice Immediate need for a talented RN Hospice. This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Missoula MT (Onsite). Job ID:26-22014 Pay Range: Regular Pay: $20/hr Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1600.55/weekly Weekly Per Diem: $720 Weekly Gross Pay: $2,320.55 (subject to completion of scheduled hours) Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Symptom Management Deliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients, with a focus on comfort and symptom management. Administer medications and interventions per physician orders. Continuously assess patient needs and ensure a dignified, comfortable end-of-life experience. Supervision & Delegation to CNAs Provide guidance and oversight to non-unionized CNAs to ensure quality personal care and adherence to patient care plans. Delegate appropriate nursing support tasks (ADLs, hygiene, mobility) while ensuring safety and compassion. Monitor CNA documentation for accuracy and completeness. Offer real-time feedback and mentorship in a respectful, team-oriented environment. Interdisciplinary Collaboration Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) rounds. Contribute to care planning, symptom management strategies, and family education. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care. Family & Caregiver Support Provide emotional support, guidance, and education to families and caregivers. Help them navigate the physical and emotional challenges of end-of-life care. Documentation & Compliance Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and communications. Ensure all care aligns with regulatory and quality standards.
