Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Oncology RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and a current IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 16-bed Oncology unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes oncology, hematology, end-of-life/hospice, and overflow medical/surgical cases
- 13-week assignment on night shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- Responsibilities include patient assessment and intervention, medication administration, and monitoring of care plans
- Documentation completed in EHR
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification through AHA
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care including ADL assistance and implementation of care plans
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for candidates living near the facility
- Local candidates are welcome to apply, though rates may vary based on proximity to the facility
- Travelers are encouraged to discuss assignment extensions with management approximately 45 days before the end date
- COVID vaccination is not required for this assignment
